If you are interested in fermentation and don’t know where to start, then this is the class for you! From 1-4 pm on May 24th, I will lead you through the basic techniques needed to successfully ferment at home.

In this hands-on class you will learn how to make:

~Sauerkraut

~Kimchi

~Fermenting in Brine (Pickles & Hot Sauce)

~Preserved Lemons

~Kombucha
~Sourdough

Students will take home some items to ferment and be given starters for kombucha and sourdough. Light snacks & beverages will be served.

Class Refund & Credit Policy

Due to the nature of our fermentation classes, which require advance planning and ingredient purchasing weeks ahead of time, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations.

This policy applies to all circumstances, including scheduling conflicts and inclement weather.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, your payment may be applied as a credit toward a future class or used in our shop. Credits must be used within a reasonable timeframe and are non-transferable unless otherwise approved.

We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to continue sourcing high-quality, seasonal ingredients and preparing thoughtfully for each class.
