Find Me at the united Farmer’s Market

Over the past decade, I’ve had the chance to cook all over the place—private dinners on back roads, retreats in the woods, events that pull me into new kitchens and new communities. I love that work, and I’ll keep chasing those opportunities to cook globally and travel for food. But through all of that movement, the United Farmers Market has quietly been a kind of home base for me. It’s where I’ve returned, season after season, to feed my neighbors and stay rooted here in Midcoast Maine.

Some of you might remember my early farm-to-table pop-up dinners—nine in total. Those dinners were a big part of how I found my voice as a chef in the area. For the last 4.5 years, you could find me behind the Ararat Farms booth, cranking out krauts, kombucha, hot sauce, snacks, and all the other value-added foods we built together. Week after week, we talked recipes, swapped stories, and watched your kids grow up one market at a time.

This spring I stepped into something new: my own booth, my own banner, my own evolving menu—still rooted in local & seasonal food, still very much “home,” just wearing a different hat. I originally stepped back into the market with the offering of sweet & savory kettle popcorn. While it was a good entry point back into the market, it didn’t quite do it for me. Each week I added more and eventually made it back indoors. Nearly 7 months later, I have an established location that reflects my Italian heritage, the local landscape, and using my skills outside of the kitchen.

For those of you who have yet to make it, the market runs year round every Saturday from 9 am - 2 pm. Enter via 18 Spring St. or 19 Miller St.
