Popping Up in Belfast!
I am excited to get back to work in one of my favorite towns in Maine! I will be setting up some and making kettle style popcorn this summer and fall at the United Farmer’s Market in Belfast! The market is held each and every Saturday from 9 - 2 pm and hosts a wide range delicious food and artisan crafts.
Find me at the United Farmer’s Market!
Since stepping away from my position at Ararat Farms, I have been brainstorming a variety of ideas in how to move forward with my business. Knowing I had access to a propane fired kettle, I became inspired to spend the summer outside slinging popcorn. I connected the dots and now it’s a reality.
What will separate my popcorn from the rest? Quality! For something as simple as popcorn, I want to offer the public food that is nutritious and enjoyable. My offerings will be organic, offering maple or salt & herb options. Additions flavors may come with time but I want to keep things simple and delicious!
In addition to the market, I plan to be down the road on the Belfast Hills to Sea trail each Thursday for Belfast Summer Nights. This free music series starts on June 26th and goes into September.
This is very much a weather appropriate endeavor so if rain is on the way, I may not be setting up shop. but lets think warmth and sunshine :)
